Harber lost in the consolation seventh round, but he bounced back to place seventh with a 3-2 win over Garret Forbes of La Pine.  Harber got a take down in the third period to earn the win.

Nichols had little trouble reaching the championship quarter finals with three first-period wins to start the tournament.

In his opening match, it took just 79 seconds to beat Spring Creek’s Jaxson Taylor.

Nichols was on the mat for just 30 seconds in his second bout, pinning David Contreras of Central Valley. Nichols reached the quarterfinals with a 70-second pin over Jackson Norman of Caldwell.

Nichols suffered his first loss in the quarterfinals to Isaac Scott of Thunder Ridge. Nichols came back to beat Centrals’ Bobby Cisneros 6-4. Leading 5-4 in the third period, Nichols got an escape to give him some breathing room.

That was the last win for Nichols, who dropped his final two matches to place eighth.
