School district honors leadership students and outstanding staff member

The Humboldt County School District Board of Trustees honored French Ford Middle School staff member Liz Petersen for her efforts to go above and beyond in caring for students at their latest meeting on Feb. 14. Peterson is reportedly never without a smile when working as a crossing guard and knows all of the students by name. Her love for students and positive attitude also earned her over 100 positive comments on social media.
