William Henry Douglas passed away on February 4, 2023, in Winnemucca, Nevada.
He was born on December 11, 1951, in Illinois.
He served his country as a member of the United States Army and the United States Air Force during the Vietnam, Iraq and Kuwait Wars.
William married Teresita Ontuca on June 29, 1971.
They shared 52 wonderful years and one daughter together.
The two have resided in Winnemucca, Nevada for the last 25 years.
He was an active member in his church, Christ Life Ministry and an active member in Winnemucca Lodge #19 of the Free and Accepted Masons.
William is survived by his wife, Teresita Ontuca Douglas, his daughter, Mary Jane Green and his grandchildren, Jasmine Teresita Green, Devan Shaun Green and McKullin Ross Green.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Edward and Patsy Lou Douglas.
His family would like to thank Angela Alvarez, Esther Mejia, the doctors, nurses and technicians who provided care while William was at Humboldt General Hospital and Lupe Diaz.
A Funeral Service will be held on February 17, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Sonoma Funeral Home.
Burial to take place at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada at a later date.
