Baskets by Jenkins and Brinegar cut the deficit to 49-40 with 4:57 to play, when Fernley converted a pair of buckets to push the lead back to 51-40.

With four minutes to play, Bills knocked down a 3-pointer and after free throws by Fernley, Brinegar converted an old-fashioned 3-point play to make the score 55-46.

The Lowry rally continued with a putback shot by Danner and a layup by Anthony Guzman off a steal. The Buckaroos extended the 9-0 with two free throws by Brinegar and trailed 55-52 with 1:19 to play.

Fernley stopped the run with a basket to push the lead back to 57-52, when Danner had an answer for Lowry. After the Vaqueros could not convert on offense, Brinegar closed the gap to 57-56 with 23 seconds to go with two free throws.
