The Lowry High School girls basketball team hit the 20-win plateau for the second straight season, after picking up two wins in three games last week.
The Lady Bucks made the long trip to South Tahoe on Tuesday, Jan. 31, and came back home with a 68-27 victory.
Lowry celebrated Winterfest last week and beat Dayton 67-31 on Friday, but lost 75-68 to Fernley on Saturday.
Lowry has clinched a playoff spot and sits at 20-3 overall, 6-2 in the Northern 3A East and 6-0 against the Northern 3A.
The Lady Bucks will be the No. 3 or No. 4 seed for the regional tournament.

South Tahoe 27
South Tahoe came into the contest tied for the lead in the Western 3A, but Lowry had little trouble with the Vikings.
Sophomore Savannah Stoker outscored South Tahoe by herself with 34 points.
Sophomore Britain Backus added 15 points and senior Kailey Franklin had eight. Brice Brinkerhoff scored five points, Mia Hernandez four and Kaitlyn Gomez two.
Lowry raced out to a 26-11 lead after eight minutes of play and put the game out of reach with a 21-5 run in the third quarter to go in front 64-23.

Dayton 31
In only its third home game in the calendar year, Lowry easily disposed of Dayton on Friday night.
The Lady Bucks raced to a 25-7 advantage in the first quarter and was on cruise control from there.
Backus and Stoker paced the Lady Bucks with 21 and 20 points, respectively.
Hernandez added eight points, Autum Sanchez, Khloe Shorey and Brinkerhoff four each and Sydnee Pettis and Gomez netted two points apiece.

In a battle for the top spot in the Northern 3A, Fernley and Lowry put on an offensive show that saw the teams combine for 143 points.
The last time the two teams played, the Vaqueros held the Lady Bucks to 31 points and won by 27.
Fernley jumped out to a 14-4 lead in the first quarter and Lowry had to play from behind the rest of the game.
After trailing by 10 points, Lowry closed out the first quarter on a 7-2 run with five of those points from Stoker and the other two by Backus. Stoker (42) and Backus (20) combined for 62 of the 68 points.
A 3-pointer and pair of free throws by Backus closed the gap to 21-17 in the second quarter, but Fernley remained hot from the filed and led 41-30 at halftime.
A pair of baskets by Stoker in the third quarter, shrunk the lead to 46-42, only to see Fernley answer the run and lead 61-51 after three quarters of play.
The Vaqueros maintained their lead throughout the fourth quarter but saw the Lady Bucks trim their lead to 72-69 late in the game but Lowry could get no closer.
Franklin and Hernandez each had two points and Shorey and Brinkerhoff scored one point apiece.
Lowry traveled to Spring Creek on Tuesday and results were not available at press time. Lowry hosts Elko on Saturday at 1 p.m.
