PBS Reno to debut new episodes of Wild Nevada

RENO — PBS Reno is pleased to announce eight new episodes of Season 6 of Wild Nevada that will debut in December 2023 and January 2024 on PBS Reno Channel 5.1.

The first new episode of Wild Nevada debuts on Thursday December 7 at 9pm.

Preceding the episode will be a special presentation at 8pm featuring hosts Chris Orr and Dave Santina in the PBS Reno studio as they feature some of their favorite moments from Season 6 along with special guests and a ticket offer from Nevada State Parks that viewers will receive when they financially support PBS Reno.

“I’m looking forward to sharing the new Wild Nevada episodes from Season 6,” said Orr. “In these new shows, we take viewers to fascinating parts of the state, some locations are familiar, and others are brand new to the series. We are highlighting not only the beauty, but also fascinating information about these locales. I think the history, geology, and stories in these new episodes will enrich the adventures ahead for our Wild Nevada audience.”

“I hope that people who love this show are pleased to see new episodes,” said Santina. “There’s a lot of fresh content, new locations, and each segment is fun and different. Our goal has always been to inspire people to get outside and explore the beauty of our state. We only wish we could produce enough episodes to keep up with the demand for new adventures, but we are so proud of the work we’ve accomplished through Wild Nevada.”
