The Pershing County High School athletic department held its annual football camp last Tuesday evening. High school players and their coaches guided Lovelock's youth in skills like throwing and catching the football and the 3-point stance.

Everywhere you looked on Joe Yanni Field small groups were learning by doing. It was easy to picture the highschoolers as future coaches and the younger crowd as future Mustangs.

“We are thankful we had so many kids and volunteers. It was awesome,” said AD Mike Brooks.
