Gail Piquet shot a low net score of 77 to win the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club Pro’s Posse tournament on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Marlea Pointer was second in the first flight at 78. Marlea Pointer (70) was low net in the second flight and Bryn Echeverria (76) was second.
In the nine-hole Gross/Net tournament on July 31, Leslie Molina was first in the first flight with a round of 50 and Alicia Heiser (52) placed second. In the second flight, Lisa Carlson was first at 38.5 and Lori Woodland (41.5) was second.
Laurie Pickett, Di Am Putnam, Carloe Doughty Piquet and Echeverria had chip-ins.
Piquet was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 37 feet, 6 inches.
