Rita Lou Lemley passed away on April 2, 2023, in Battle Mountain, Nevada.
She was born March 10, 1942, in Chico, California to Harold Edward and Lila Irene Phagan.
She spent most of her life in San Jose, California. She worked in the computer industry as a document controller for Intel and ISSI.
She married Richard Harold Lemley on March 11, 1978.
The two shared many years until Richard’s passing. She eventually retired to Winnemucca, Nevada to be close to her family.
Rita loved being with her family and friends. She enjoyed going to the Sundance Casino to play the Buffalo machines and visit with her friends.
She is survived by her children, Duane (Melissa) Lemley, Jonita Dunham, Sharon (Drew) Wakeland, and Mindy Jarrell.
Her grandchildren, Josh (Anita) Lemley, Todd (Joelle) Lemley, Greg (Melody) Skelton, Marcia Johnson, Alexis Johnson, Lindsey (Justin) Hageman, Blake Stoudt, Dylan (Diana) Wakeland, Mitch (Christina) Zahn and Dannette Cossey. As well as 19 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lemley and her grandson, Dwayne Skelton.
There will be a wake for Rita at Jonita and Rita’s House on April 29th from 1:00 pm – 5:00 p.m.
