The Lowry High School swim team was in Reno on Friday, April 7, at Alf Sorenson Poll in Reno to take on Damonte Ranch in a dual.
The Damonte Ranch boys beat the Buckaroos 51-39 and the Damonte Ranch girls team won 194-32.
Tanner Hatch turned in a pair of victories for the Buckaroo boys, winning the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 26.55 seconds and the 100-yard freestyle at 1:01.48.
Caden Montero was the runner-up in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 28.57 and he was second in the 500-yard freestyle (7:40.01).
Garrett Jensen placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:36.66 and he was third in the 100-yard freestyle at 1:03.60.
On the girls side, Tea Bengoa was second in the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:36.23 and was third in the 200-ayrd individual medley at 3:01.17.
Aidan Peters earned a runner-up finish in the 100-yard freestyle, stopping the clock at 1:26.14 and she was third in the 100-yard backstroke at 1:46.96.
Evie Morgan placed third in both the 200-yard freestyle (2:57.37) and the 50-yard freestyle (36.30).
Lowry was back in Reno this past Saturday to swim against North Valleys and North Tahoe.
The Buckaroos travel to Reno this Saturday to go up against Fernley and Churchill County at 2 p.m.
