On January 27, 2023, Polly Buck, of Lovelock, Nevada, went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She was 83 years old. Polly will be remembered as a devout believer in Christ, which to her would be all she would want people to know.
She spent her life doing all of the things she loved.
She spent time with her family, attended concerts and operas, played piano at church, sang with the community choir, watched sports, played sports, read many books, traveled to different states and countries, worked as a bookkeeper and court clerk, enjoyed cards and games and kept a daily journal that held her prayer requests, miles walked and even the weather report.
She had the cutest smile and a charming laugh. She will be missed by so many.
Polly is survived by her daughters Nicki Allen and Linda Natrop (Craig), her sister June Kulinna (Jay), June’s children, Rome Mazza (Christine), Troy Mazza (Teresa) and Alison Hartley (Tim), grandchildren Nina Scholl (Steve), Alexa Olsen (Tony), Nathan Allen and Jake Baird, step grandson Jerry Allen (Lisa), and 7 great-grandchildren. Stepsons Frank, Robert and Bruce Buck and stepdaughter, Barbara Klein, numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by husbands Greg Banovich and Charles Buck, daughter Nina Banovich, granddaughter Lauren Baird, and sons-in-law Charles Allen and Clay Baird.
There will be a service to celebrate the wonderful life of this wonderful woman at 1:00 PM on May 20th at 900 Western Ave, (formerly the First Baptist Church) in Lovelock, NV.
A short graveyard burial at Lone Mountain Cemetery to follow.
There will also be a reception to follow with food and fellowship at the church until 5:00 PM.
