The Lowry High School swim team was in Carson City on Friday, March 31, to dual South Tahoe.
The Viking boys won 167-35 over the Buckaroos and the South Tahoe girls beat Lowry 177-27.
Caden Montero brought home first place in the boys 200-yard individual medley with a time of 3:00.50 and he placed third in the 100-yard freestyle at 1:08.80.
Tanner Hatch turned in a pair of runner-up finishes in the 200-yard freestyle (2:27.50) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:24.97).
Garrett Jensen placed second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 7:28 and he was third in the 50-yard freestyle (29.38).
On the girls side, Tea Bengoa was the runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:43.33 and was fourth in the 100-yard freestyle (1:16.55).
Evie Morgan finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:37.06) and placed fourth in the 200-yard individual medley at 3:25.03.
Aidan Peters was fourth in the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 1:46.86 and she was fifth in the 50-yard freestyle at 39.25.
Lowry was in Reno this past Friday to swim against Damonte Ranch. Results were not available at press time.
The Buckaroos are back in Reno this Friday to swim against North Tahoe and North Valleys at 2 p.m.
