Our beloved Carolyn passed peacefully on Thursday September 9th 2022.

She was born in Brushprairie WA, where she worked on her parent’s ranch while attending school K-12.

Shortly after, she married and had many adventures in the mid and north Americas, gold panning, dredging, sketching scenes along the way.

They owned and operated a coin & hobby shop in Oregon before moving to Nevada where they would purchase the Brook wood Trailer Park.

All while perusing her love for art and even making appearances on the local news for art segments.

She would later become a rural mail route carrier where she would continue to bless us with her good will and kind spirit.

As if her presence wasn’t enough, her drive came from pure determination, true grit, and her family.

She is survived by her sister Rose Kopman of Vancouver WA, daughter Jennifer Baker, son Joseph Baker, two grandsons Richard Baker, and Jonathan Baker, One granddaughter Raina Helms, and four great great granddaughters all in Nevada, and countless friends who had journeyed through her life.

What a pleasure it was to know her! You will be missed, and you will remain in our hearts forever, until we meet again. We love you!

A celebration of life is being planned for next month. Details will be announced.
