The Battle Mountain High School girls soccer team hit the road last week for a pair of league matches.
The Lady Longhorns made their way to Lovelock on Wednesday, Sept. 21, and suffered a 2-1 loss to the Lady Mustangs in Northern 2A action.
After a day off, Battle Mountain was back on the bus this past Thursday for a road trip to Ely.
The Ladycats earned a 3-0 victory on their home field over the Lady Longhorns.
With the loss, Battle Mountain fell to 1-6 overall and 0-5 in league play.
Battle Mountain is back on its home field on Saturday morning to play West Wendover at 11 a.m.
The Lady Longhorns beat the Wolverines in the Pershing County tournament to start the season.
The Lady Longhorns has road matches at Yerington on Friday, Oct. 7, and Sage Ridge, on Saturday, Oct. 8.
