NOS donation —

Nevada Outdoor School would like to thank the Vietnam Veterans of America – Winnemucca Chapter 744 for their generous $1,000 donation to support Nevada Outdoor School’s Summer Camp Programs. 

These funds will help to supplement the extra food and fuel costs we are incurring for summer camp programs.  As we planned and secured our budget for camp expenses this past winter, we did not foresee how high these costs were going to go, so this donation comes in at a very critical time. Representatives from the Winnemucca Chapter joined us at the Winnemucca Adventure Camp for 8–10 year-old kids in Water Canyon for this great photo opportunity.

Chapter 744 is about veterans helping veterans and members of the community young and old.
