Aug. 24

In the case of Richard Anderson, charged with fail or refuse to surrender suspended, cancelled or revoked reg card or license plate owner – proof of insurance required: dismissed by DA after proof was provided by defendant. 



Aug. 26

In the case of Shane Steven Mobley-Lance, charged with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia: pursuant to negotiations the case was dismissed. For the charge of resisting a public officer, he pleaded guilty and was fined $1,140 which will be added to his current monthly payment plan of $100 a month. Defendant was also given paperwork for community service in lieu of fines and will be submitting time sheets monthly.



In the case of James Allen Rector, charged with possession of a controlled substance: defendant pleaded no contest to an amended charge and was fined $1,140 suspended for 2 years on condition of no new like violations. For driving while license suspended/cancelled or revoked, he pleaded no contest and was fined $355 and 6 months jail suspended for 2 years on condition of no new like violations.



Aug. 30

In the case of Derek Jason Besaw, charged with operating a vehicle with license cancelled/suspended/revoked, speeding, operating unregistered vehicle, operate vehicle without proof of insurance: defendant pleaded guilty to all four counts and was fined $1,765 total with credit for time served of 1 day totaling $150; $615 suspended for a period of 1 year on the condition of no new like violations. Remaining $1,000 to be paid in monthly installments of $50 beginning Nov. 1.



In the case of Summer Dawn Turner, charged with driving while license suspended/cancelled or revoked and operating a vehicle without having evidence of current insurance: defendant pleaded guilty to amended charge for count 1 and count 2 dismissed. Fined $195 to be paid in monthly installments of $50 beginning Nov. 1. 



In the case of Edna Lizeth Huerta, charged with failure to report an accident or false report: fined $1,140 with monthly payments of $100 beginning Nov. 1.



Aug. 31

In the case of Richard Tracy Moore, charged with injury to or destruction of property, petit larceny: the court ruled as follows: fined a total of $2,280 in fines and fees, community service was offered in lieu of fines and paperwork was given to the deputy; $50 (5 hours) a month minimum beginning Nov. 1; the court ordered restitution in the amount of $901.53 to be paid in monthly installments of $50 beginning Dec. 1.



Sept. 6

In the case of Greg Shelley, charged with driving suspended/revoked alcohol related: DA Mike Macdonald spoke with the defendant off the record. The defendant withdrew his previous plea of no contest and entered a not guilty plea. The DA motioned to dismiss the citation. 

In the case of Cynthia Denise Vaughan, charged with DUI 1st, turning on highway, vehicle turning left: defendant completed all conditions of the court; she was unable to find an in person victim impact panel to attend but did complete the online course. The court accepted the online course in place of the in person. 



Sept. 13

In the case of Daniel Joseph Shaw, charged with failure to immediately report traffic accident, hit and run property damage, no proof of insurance, license plates improperly displayed: all counts dismissed per DA Kevin Pasquale.
