Aug. 18 — In the case of Delia Ustick, charged with fail to obey flagman in marked construction, maintenance or temp traffic control area: Chief Deputy DA Pasquale discussed the matter with the defendant off the record via phone. Pursuant to negotiation, the DA reduced the fine amount to $355 with the charge to remain the same. The defendant agreed to monthly payments of $50 beginning Sept. 19.
Aug. 18 — In the case of Jade Butcher, charged with failure to immediate report accident, hit and run unattended vehicle: fined $640 in fines and fees suspended for six months on the condition of no new like violations. The county motioned to dismiss count 2 pursuant to negotiations with the court accepted.

Aug. 18 — In the case of Ryan Anthony Perez, charged with driving while license is cancelled/suspended/revoked, use of head lamps and stop lights required, protective headgear, glasses, goggles or faceshield, current registration required: the parties agreed to continue this matter off the record. Aug. 23 — Jordan Paul Jeppsen pleaded no contest to resisting a public officer and was fined $1,140 in fines and fees with $600 converted to jail time and credit for time served. The remaining $540 is suspended for six months on the condition he continue and successfully complete counseling. Counts 1 and 2 were dismissed. Status review hearing set for Nov. 22.

Pursuant to negotiation the DA amended the charge to 21-30 over limit with the fine amount to reflect the amended charge. Defendant is to pay half on Oct. 3 with the remaining to be paid Nov. 3.
