Aug. 18 — In the case of Delia Ustick, charged with fail to obey flagman in marked construction, maintenance or temp traffic control area: Chief Deputy DA Pasquale discussed the matter with the defendant off the record via phone. Pursuant to negotiation, the DA reduced the fine amount to $355 with the charge to remain the same. The defendant agreed to monthly payments of $50 beginning Sept. 19.

Aug. 23 — Jordan Paul Jeppsen pleaded no contest to resisting a public officer and was fined $1,140 in fines and fees with $600 converted to jail time and credit for time served. The remaining $540 is suspended for six months on the condition he continue and successfully complete counseling. Counts 1 and 2 were dismissed. Status review hearing set for Nov. 22.
