The Lowry High School boys soccer team split a pair Northern 3A East matches this past week on the road in Lyon County.
The Buckaroos traveled to Dayton on Tuesday, Oct. 18, and beat the Dust Devils 3-0 to complete the season sweep of the school.
Lowry scored twice in the first 40 minutes of play and added an insurance goal in the second half to finish off the win.
Lowry made its way to Fernley on Saturday afternoon and Mother Nature delivered cold and windy conditions for the day.
The Buckaroos led 1-0 at halftime but Fernley scored twice in the second half to get the win.
Lowry closed out its home schedule on Tuesday against Spring Creek and results were not available at press time. The Buckaroos close out the season on Thursday in Elko at 3:45 p.m.
South Tahoe, Bishop Manogue, McQueen, Truckee and Douglas have clinched playoff berths in the Northern 3A Regional Championship that will be held in Truckee from Nov. 3-5.
The lone playoff spot from the Northern 3A East will come from either Elko or Spring Creek. Elko leads the league at 7-1-0 and Spring Creek is 5-1-2.
Both teams play Churchill County and Lowry to end the regular season.
