Jenna Chopp shot a two-day total of 250 to lead the way for the Battle Mountain High School girls golf team at the NIAA 2A State Girls Golf Championships held at Ruby View Golf Course in Elko on Oct. 18-19.
Chopp, who finished 22nd, carded rounds of 128 and 122.
Teammate Lisette Haney was 28th at 268 with rounds of 137 and 131 and Kiana Gonzales (157-127-284) and Alyssa Laughton (142-147-289) placed 34th and 35th, respectively.
Hadlee Bauer was 37th with a two-day total of 296 and Hannah Johnson finished 42nd at 334.
The Meadows, from Lase Vegas, won the team title with a total of 694 after rounds of 351 and 343.
North Tahoe (771) finished second and Incline (849), West Wendover (967), Wells (1,015) and White Pine (1.018) rounded out the scores.
The Meadows had the top three finishers, including state champion Mizara Norton at 151.
Alex Wasserburger (164) placed second and Iris Sims (172) finished third.
