The Battle Mountain High School girls golf team finished fourth at the Northern 2A East Regional Championship on Thursday, Oct. 13, at Toana Vista Golf Course.
The Lady Longhorns will still send all six players to the NIAA 2A State Championships in Elko at Ruby View Golf Course on Oct. 18-19.
Jenna Chopp finished 11th overall with a round of 155, while teammate Kiana Gonzalez was 12th at 157.
Lisette Haney (161) was 14th, Hadlee Bauer (163) placed 16th and Hannah Johnson (198) and Alyssa Laughton (202) were 2st and 2nd, respectively.
West Wendover won the team title with a 529, followed by Wells (571) and White Pine (592).
They will compete as teams at the state championships. Battle Mountain had a team score of 636.
