Members of the Battle Mountain NNA swim team were in Roseville, Calif. for the California Capital Aquatics Spook-Tacular from Oct. 7-9.
Nevaeh Serna was fourth in the girls 12 and under division in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2 minutes, 48.76 seconds, which was a 1.13-second improvement over her previous best time.
She placed sixth in the girls 11 and over division in the 1,650-yard freestyle at 23:42.81.
She was 11th in the 100-yard individual medley (1:20.34) and 20th in the 100-yard freestyle (1:07.68).
Serna finished 10th in the 100-yard butterfly at 1:27.41, 19th in the 100-yard backstroke (1:15.23), 21st in the 200-yard freestyle (2:26.15) and 24th in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 30.89.
She had the third best time in the 200-yard backstroke but was disqualified, as she flinched at the start.
Zayne hall was fifth in the boys 13 and over 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:05.62.
He added finishes of 26th in the 100-yard freestyle (57.06) and 29th in the 50-yard freestyle (25:16).
Weston Reiva placed fourth in the boys 12 and under 100-yard butterfly at 1:44.08 and he took off nearly 14 seconds to place fifth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 35.61.
He placed fourth in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:21.21, a 25 second improvement.
Reiva placed seventh in the 50-yard butterfly at 45.01, he was 10th in the 100-yard individual medley (1:36.57), 11th in the 50-yard backstroke at 44.05, a 9.58 second improvement and he was 12th in the 200-yard freestyle (3:01.97).
He was disqualified in the 100-yard backstroke for turning to quick.
