Gail Piquet shot a low-gross score of 90 to win the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Cub Gross/Net tournament held Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course. Vicki Celio was second in the first flight at 107.
Melissa Murphy was low net in the first flight with a round of 81 and Bryn Echevarria (82) was second. Carole Doughty was low gross in the second flight at 104 and Adua Boyle (108) finished second.
Di An Putnam and Mary Lou Curti tied for low-net honors at 74.
Celio and Piquet had the fewest putts with 31 and Piquet had a chip-in.
Boyle was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 2 feet, 3 inches and Doughty was closest on No. 5 at 8-2.
