Lowry High School’s Alia Novi, Sydnee Pettis and Bryce Brinkerhoff were named to the Northern 3A East girls soccer all-league, first team, which is chosen by the league coaches.
Novi a forward, scored 11 goals and had five assists this year.
Pettis a midfielder, netted seven goals to go with two assists and Brinkerhoff a defender, had two assists on the year.
The three players were also named to the Northern 3A all-league, second team, which combines the 12 schools from the West and East Divisions.
The Lady Bucks went 9-8-3 overall and 6-2-2 in the Northern 3A East to place third.
It was the first winning season for Lowry since 2015.
Joining them on the first-team were Elko’s Brielle Cooper and Peyton Jacaway, Dayton’s Elysia Torres and Molly McGrew, Spring Creek’s Arena McDermott and Avery Beatty, Churchill County’s Lizbeth Ballesteros and Fernley’s Evven Johnson and Jaelece Wasson.
Jacaway was named the Most Valuable Player and Elko’s Michelle Nichols was named Coach of the Year.
Lowry’s Maite Avalos, Britain Backus and Katlyn Esquibel were named to the Northern 3A East second team.
Avalos, a freshman, scored 10 goals and had five assists.
Backus had five goals and eight assists and Esquibel added four goals and an assist.
They were joined by Elko’s Julie Marthinussen, Ryinn Hatch and Dalyla Gaytan, Churchill County’s Yasmien Laceste, Fernley’s Naomi Wyant, Dayton’s Danielle Harris and Spring Creek’s Kiana Green, Elecy Dilworth, Jacey Lindquist and Abby Wakefield.
