Lowry High School junior Savannah Stoker was named to the Northern 3A and Northern 3A East first-team, all-league volleyball team for her play this fall.
The all-league teams are selected by the coaches.
The Lady Bucks finished the year 19-9 overall and in second place in the Northern 3A East at 6-4.
Lowry reached the Northern 3A Regional Tournament but lost in the opening round in five sets to Spring Creek. The Spartans eventually reached he state tournament.
Spring Creek landed four players on the Northern 3A East first team including Brianna Dimick, Roxanne Keim, Rylee Keim and Jenna Windous.
Also named to the first team were Elko’s Brakkin Larsen and Pacey Harris, Dayton’s Riley Glynn and Fernley’s Arianna Mathern.
The Lady Bucks’ Kailey Franklin and Emma Gray were named to the Northern 3A East second team.
That group included Dayton’s Ayisha Agee, Hallie Peterson and Penny Laine Vaelua, Fernley’s Mackenzie Depaoli, Churchill County’s Kiley Wallace, Elko’s Carly George and Spring Creek’s Brynly Stewart.
Lowry’s Belen Barocio and Jada Matheny were honorable mention choices in the Northern 3A East.
Spring Creek’s Roxanne Keim was named the Northern 3A Most Valuable Players and Dayton’s Alyse Fletcher was named the Coach of the Year.
Joining Stoker on the Northern 3A first team was Aleksen Thayer (Truckee), Riley Glynn (Dayton), Rylee Keim (Spring Creek), Jenna Windous (Spring Creek) and Arianna Mathern (Fernley).
The Lady Bucks’ Franklin was named to the Northern 3A second team, along with Spring Creek’s Brianna Dimick and Brynly Stewart, Elko’s Brakkin Larsen, South Tahoe’s Olivia Chandler, Truckee’s Kate Culpepper and Dayton’s Penny Laine Vaelua.
Lowry’s Emma Gray and Megan Cook were named to the Northern 3A honorable mention team.
