The Lowry High School football team had four players named to the Northern 3A East all-league, second-team honors, which is selected by the league coaches.
Braden Hammargren was selected as a kicker, David Walker on the offensive line, Brennan Colman on the defensive line and Lance Brinegar at defensive back.
The Buckaroos’ Luke Fentress (linebacker), Tyson Terry (defensive line) and Justin Scott (defensive line) were named to the honorable mention team.
Elko’s Cael Sellers was named the Northern 3A East Most Valuable Player, while Churchill County’s Bryce Adams was named the Offensive MVP. Elko’s Jacob Aguirre and Churchill County’s Baylor Sandberg shared the Defensive MVP honors.
Elko’s Ayden Rodriguez was named the Lineman of the Year and teammate Justus Nielson earned the Athlete award. Churchill County’s Brooke Hill was chosen as the Coach of the Year.
The Northern 3A East first team offense included, quarterback Gabe Tollestrup (Fernley), running backs Eli Finlayson (Elko) and Fernando Acosta (Elko), wide receivers Steven Moon (Churchill County), Jake Cumming (Fernley) and Austin Rasback (Spring Creek).
The kicker was Churchill County’s Cesar Gonzalez, punter Johnnie Williams (Fernley) and tight end Preston Chamberlin of Elko.
The offensive line included Luke Bennett (Elko), Alex Luna (Elko), Colin Banning (Spring Creek), Trevor Hyde (Churchill County) and Bryce Holt (Fernley).
The first team defense was comprised of linemen Mason Chacon (Elko), Kian Stuart (Elko), Ethan Tanner (Churchill County) and Naron Antone (Fernley).
The linebackers were Tristan Hill (Churchill County), Rolland Grondin (Churchill County), Klayten Piippo (Spring Creek) and Joseph Machado (Fernley). Elko’s Ayden Whiting was the return specialist and the defensive backs of Quinton Williams (Elko), Austin Reasbeck (Spring Creek), Brady Alves (Churchill County) and Carter Paul (Churchill County) rounded out the group.

Wooster’s Ivan Strunk was the Defensive MVP, Truckee’s Dylan Summer the Athlete award and Churchill County’s Brooke Hill and Truckee’s Josh Ivens were named Co-Coaches of the Year.
The first-team offense included quarterback Julian Hall (Truckee), running backs Connor Humphreys (Hug) and Eli Finlayson (Elko).
The wide receivers were Dominick Espinoza (Wooster), Steven Moon (Churchill County) and Austin Reasbeck (Spring Creek), kicker Matthew Tanner (Truckee) and punters Johnnie Williams (Fernley) and Morgan Johns (Wooster).
The tight end was Preston Chamberlin (Elko) and offensive linemen Luke Bennett (Elko), Trevor Hyde (Churchill County), Colin Banning (Spring Creek), Sean McMullen (Truckee) and Mathew Tanner (Truckee).
The first-team defense was comprised of defensive lineman Mason Chacon (Elko), Naron Antone (Fernley), Baylor Sandberg (Churchill County) and Julian Magana (Truckee).
