Veronica Nicole Estrada (28) and her son, Gabe Lucas Estrada (4) passed away on October 30 and October 31, 2022, respectively.
Veronica was born on March 26, 1994, in Sacramento, California.
She spent her young years in Bakersfield, California until the family moved to Yerington, Nevada and later Carson City, Nevada.
She spent most of her life in Carson City. She attended school and participated in band, track and NJROTC, where she met the love of her life and best friend, Mark Estrada.
Veronica and Mark welcomed their perfect baby boy, Gabe Lucas Estrada on April 26, 2018, in Carson City, Nevada.
The family moved to Winnemucca, Nevada and soon after the two were married on September 26, 2019.
Gabe had just started preschool and Veronica was working as a CNA and the Lead Clerk for Humboldt General Hospital Acute Unit and was on her way to becoming an RN.
Veronica and Gabe enjoyed being in the company of their friends and family, especially when it included the outdoors, off-roading, swimming, and BBQs. They loved reading books and listening to music.
Veronica and Gabe are survived by their best friend, Mark Estrada, their loving Husband and Da. They are also survived by their large family; Carrie Estrada and Stacey Judd, Joe and Christal Patchen, Ed and Colleen Kurczodyna, Mary and Dan Wells, Phyllis and Jack LeClair, Patrick Patchen, Mathew Patchen and Abi Smith, Timothy Patchen, Angel and Mariah Estrada, Daniel and Kayla Estrada and Ashton Perry. As well as Barb Lehman, Julie Bauer, Steve Kurczodyna, Shane Kurczodyna and many other loved family members.
