Obituary: Sandra Lynn Cable-Wyatt

Sandra Lynn Cable-Wyatt, lovingly known as “Mustang”, passed away on October 25, 2022, at her home in Winnemucca, Nevada. 

She was born on May 30, 1964 in Everett, Washington to Dawn Seitz and Wayne McMaster.

Sandy grew up in Snohomish, Washington. She graduated from Snohomish High School and then attended Washington State University where she received a bachelor’s degree.

She married Thomas Cable Jr. in 1985 they shared one child, Amanda Ann. The two were later divorced.

Sandy lived in the Reno-Gardnerville area for quite some time. She worked for the Reno Police Department, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, and the Nevada State Department of Corrections. She was very proud of her law enforcement career.

She married Gregory Wyatt on January 21, 2019. 

The two shared the last few years together in Winnemucca, Nevada.

Sandy loved the desert area, she enjoyed fishing, camping, horseback riding, and riding motorcycles.

She loved cooking and needlework and painting. 

She is survived by her husband, Gregory Wyatt, her daughter, Amanda Ann Cable Michels, her grandchildren, Charlotte Michels, Moira Michels, and Harriet Michels. 

She is also survived by her parents, Wayne McMaster and Dawn Seitz and her siblings, Kenneth McMaster, Kelli Wise and Susan O’Neill. 

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth and Margaret Miller and Eldun and Irene McMaster.
