The McDermitt High School volleyball team travels to Elko and Elko High School on Saturday for the Northern 1A East Regional Championships.
The Lady Bulldogs finished at 2-8 and in fifth place in the regular season standings.
McDermitt concluded the regular season this past Thursday, as it celebrated homecoming week.
Owyhee beat McDermitt in four sets in each match of the doubleheader.
McDermitt takes on Wells at 10 a.m. on Saturday, with the winner playing top-seeded Eureka at 1:20 p.m.
The Vandals finished the regular season at 10-0 in league play.
Jackpot faces Carlin in the other opening-round match at 11:40 a.m. The winner plays Owyhee at 3 p.m.
The championship match is set for 5:30 p.m.
The two finalists advance to the NIAA 1A State Championships to be played at Clark and Rancho high schools in Las Vegas from Nov. 10-12.
