The Mustangs won the regular season match-up 39-22 on Oct. 20, in Battle Mountain. The Longhorns led the game 13-0 and it was tied at 19 at halftime.
The winner of that game will play at the top remaining seed from the Southern 2A on Saturday, Nov. 12, unless Yerington is upset in the first round.
If the Lions were to lose on Friday, the winner would become the top remaining seed left in northern Nevada
Yerington hosts Incline in the other Northern 2A match-up on Friday. If the Lions win, they will host the lower remaining seed from the Southern 2A on Nov. 12.
