Obituary: Tonia Raina (Arigoni) Barton

Tonia Raina (Arigoni) Barton passed away on April 27, 2022, at her home in Winnemucca, Nevada. She was born on February 1, 1970, in Yerington, Nevada to Bruce and Karen Arigoni. 

She grew up with her twin sister Sonia, sister Pam Tate and brother Bruce Arigoni in Yerington there she attended school. 

She moved to Carson City for several years then moved to Fernley for a couple of years and then came to Winnemucca. 

In Winnemucca, Tonia loved working at the thrift stores. 

Tonia was married briefly and had no children. But she did have a dog named Sassy, who was her constant companion in life. 

She was baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints. She loved going to church and going on trips with them. She loved doing puzzles, painting, and doing pottery. 

She loved bowling and taking walks with her dog, Sassy. 

She was an avid walker, she walked everywhere since she never learned how to drive. 

 She loved her family, her nieces and nephew meant everything to her, she loved cooking with her twin sister, Sonia. Tonia will be missed by all that knew and loved her. 

She is survived by her mother, Karen Arigoni, her siblings, Bruce (Kelli) Arigoni of Fernley, NV, Pam (Bill) Tate of Yerington, NV, Sonia Arigoni of Miami, FL and her nieces and nephews, Fawn Tate, Brandy Tate, Billie Jo Brown, Emily Arigoni, Jacob Arigoni, Brittny Arigoni and Mason James. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Bruce Arigoni, and her grandparents, Leland Arigoni, Katherine Bertrand, Marge Wilson, and Cecil Wilson.
