Martha Louise Miller Gallegos passed away on May 7, 2022, at her home in Winnemucca, NV at 82 years old.
She was born on August 30, 1939, to Sam Miller Sr. and Margaret Metheni in Kansas City, Missouri. She grew up alongside her 4 siblings.
She came to Winnemucca in 1969, here she worked as a pet groomer and in the gaming industry as a Keno Runner.
She was married the first time to Mike Deschene and most recently, Jose Gallegos. She had 3 children, Katrina Deschene, Tammy Bennett, and Luis Gallegos.
Martha was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed playing chess, fishing, and watching her TV Soaps.
She is survived by her daughter Tammy Bennett and son Luis Gallegos. 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Mike Deschene and Jose Gallegos, her oldest daughter, Katrina Dawn Deschene, her parents, Sam Miller Sr. and Margaret Metheni, Her grandparents, and her siblings, Mary Lou Howard, Connie Morris, Sam Miller Jr and John Miller.
The family of Martha would like to thank the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints, and two of her good friends, Ruby Shirah and Carol Doyle.
