The two had no children, but always enjoyed time with children from the church and enjoyed being able to return them to the parents at the end of the day.
In addition to working throughout the years, of course, she took on the role of pastor’s wife. Flora went along with her husband, Bob to various places as he went to Bible College and Seminary, then locations where he was serving as church pastor.
They lived in Springfield, IL; Wheaton, Carol Stream, and Aurora, IL; Denver/Englewood, CO; Stoughton, Westborough, and Hudson, MA; Amarillo, TX; and Orovada, NV.
Flora enjoyed interacting with people, crossword puzzles, and singing.
She is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) Burns and many friends from their lives. Flora’s parents predeceased her.
