The Lowry High School boys and girls swim teams picked up dual wins against Sparks on Friday, April 22, at Northwest Pool in Reno.
The Lowry girls beat the Railroaders 77-32 and the Buckaroo boys won 65-37.
Evie Morgan led a 1-2-3 Lowry finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1 minute, 19.05 seconds. Tajia Taylor was second at 1:22.44 and Zoey Thies (1:18.11) was third.
Morgan also won the 100-yard backstroke at 1:39.30 and Thies claimed the top spot in the 200-yard freestyle, stopping the clock at 3:18.39.
Tea Bengoa (33.98) and Taylor (36.19) were first and second, respectively, in the 50-yard freestyle and Bengoa won the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:37.41.
Taylor, Morgan, Bengoa and Thies won the 200-medley relay with a time of 2:43.23 and the foursome won the 200-yard relay at 2:29.67.
On the boys side, Matthew Lizanetz swept the 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle races. Lizanetz stopped the clock in the 200 freestyle at 2:12.23 and the 100 at 58.30.
Garret Jensen won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 29.05 and the 500-yard freestyle at 7:04.75, while Tanner Hatch was the runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle (2:33.10) and the 100-yard freestyle (1:07.32).
Caden Montero finished second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 29.84 and the was third in the 100-yard freestyle (1:08.06).
The 200-yarr relay of Hatch, Montero, Jensen and Lizanetz won with time of 1:58.27.
Lowry swam against Hug this past Saturday and close out the regular season in Fernley on Saturday, May 7.
