Peggy was born October 18,1926, in Kanosh, Utah and passed away March 7,2022 at her home in Unionville, Nevada. She graduated from PCHS in Lovelock, Nevada and received her nursing training from St. Francis School of Nursing in San Francisco, California. She is survived by her sons, Clifford and Richard, daughters, Patricia (Marin) and Susan, 9 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and her grand dog, Addy.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Harmon, son, Don R. Harmon, parents, Edward and Cassie Lamb, and brothers, Clinn, Don, and John Lamb.
Peggy made her home in Oreana, Gold Field, Gabbs, Yerington, and Reno before settling in Unionville.
She passed on her passion and love of animals to her granddaughter, Brook and green thumb to daughters, Pat and Susan. She was known in the valley for her tomato plants and cantaloupes.
Peggy passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Plant an apple tree and think of Peggy as it grows.
A graveside ceremony will be held at the Unionville ceremony at 12:00 noon followed by a celebration of her life at Star Peak Trading Post, Mill City, Nevada on Saturday, March 19, 2022.
