Thomas Arnold Davidson died peacefully in Stephenville, Texas on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
Thomas was born in Winnemucca, Nevada on June 23, 1935, to Peter and Evelyn (LeBroke) Davidson. He spent his youth in Imlay, Nevada, moving to Sparks, Nevada in 1949. Tom attended Sparks High School where he was a standout basketball star, graduating in 1953.
Soon after graduation, Tom began working for Southern Pacific Railroad where he was a fireman. The newlyweds returned to Imlay and finally to Winnemucca where he called home for over 40 years.
Tom married the love of his life, Charlese (Rupley) in Sparks, Nevada in 1963. He and “Honey” were married 32 years when she passed in 1996. A Native Nevadan, Tom enjoyed hunting and fishing and knew every mountain and valley in Humboldt and Pershing Counties. He was a true cowboy, proclaiming to be bucked off many horses and bulls with broken bones to prove it. Later in life, he enjoyed watching rodeo on the Cowboy Channel as well as his beloved LA Dodgers.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Evelyn Davidson, wife Honey, stepfather Elmer Hage, brothers Harold and Calvin.
Thomas is survived by his children, Stan Davidson(Sue) of Heber City, Utah, Dean Davidson of Sparks, Nevada, Kimberlee Williams (Steve) of Cheney, Washington, and Lisa Jaureguito(Tim) of Stephenville, Texas; grandchildren, Bobbie Beach, Randee Kunold, Charli Lastfogel, Jason Williams, Maddison Jaureguito; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Frank Davidson(Barbara) and sister Donna Carter both of Sparks, Nevada; as well as sister in laws, Lynne, Pat and Kay, brother in law John; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
