If you drive by McDougal Park, you might hear the Wolf Pack howling about their undefeated status (6-0). Last Monday, they beat the Second Stringers by one point. On Thursday they knocked off Modelo Time.
All eight teams look at home on the softball field. Many have been playing together since the league started five years ago. They compete at McDougal Park every Monday and Thursday evening at 6 p.m.
League president Jared Jensen says he sees more balance between the top and middle teams. Often, the games come down to the last inning.
Wolf Pack shortstop Jake Bohan has four home runs so far this summer. “I hit 17 the first year and last year, so I’m trying to beat that number,” he said.
