Gail Piquet shot a low-gross score of 42 to win the first flight of the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club Better Nine tournament golf Tuesday, June 21, at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Vicki Celio was low net in the first flight at 36.5. Di An Putnam was first in the second flight in the gross division at 53 at Carole Doughty was low net with a 35.5.
Piquet had the fewest putts with 27 and Mary Lou Curti had a chip-in. Piquet was closest to the hole on No. 2 at 7 feet, 5 inches and Celio was closest on No. 5 at 36-7.
