The Battle Mountain NNA Swim Team was at Idlewild Pool in Reno from June 17-19 for the Reno Aquatic Club Gamble.
Nevaeh Serna picked up a runner-up finish in the 10 and under 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:27.48, an 8.25-second improvement.
She was third in the 50-meter backstroke with a time of 41.01, which was nearly five second quicker. Serna took off nearly 12 seconds to place fourth at 2:47.87.
She added fourth-place finishes in the 50-meter breaststroke at 50.54 and the 200-meter individual medley (3:14.09) a 15.62-second improvement.
Serna finished fifth in the 100-meter butterfly at 1:42.79, nearly five seconds better and was fifth in the 100-meter freestyle in a time of 1:20.27.
She places sixth in the 50-meter butterfly at 44.70.
Suzie Thompson competed in the 13 and over division and was 15th in the 400-meter individual medley with a time of 7:24.29.
She cut three seconds off in the 100-meter freestyle to finish in a time of 1:28.59 and she had times of 4:12.20 in the 200-meter breaststroke and 1:31.28 in the 100-meter backstroke to place 34th.
Zane Hall placed 17th in the boys 13 and over 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1;18.44.
He placed 19th in the 100-meter freestyle (1:07.43), 19th in the 50-meter freestyle (29.13) and 23rd in the 200-meter freestyle (2:38.76).
Weston Reiva earned a ninth-place finish in the 200-meter freestyle with a time of 3:22.62 and was 11th in the 100-meter backstroke (1:47.23).
He placed 14th in the 200-meter individual medley (4:17.91) and the 50-meter freestyle (40.98) and was 17th in the 50-meter butterfly (1:01.20).
Reiva finished 18th in the 50-meter breaststroke at 1:12.22.
Molly Riboux finished 11th in the girls 13 and over 50-meter freestyle with a time of 34.85.
Riboux placed 12th in the 200-meter freestyle (3:09.45) and 14th in the 100-meter freestyle (1:20.69) and the 100-meter breaststroke (1:50.81).
She finished 16th in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 3:09.45.
Riboux, an exchange student, swam in her last last swim meet.
She left last week to go back to Belgium.
She spent 10 months in Battle Mountain and was a great addition to the team.
