Obituary: Beverly Elaine White

Beverly Elaine White passed away on June 2, 2022 at her home in Winnemucca, Nevada at the age of 88. 

She was born on May 23, 1934 in Imlay, Nevada to Clifford and Mabel Morse. 

Bev was born in Imlay and later moved to Winnemucca. 

She attended school in Lovelock and Winnemucca, graduating from Humboldt County High School and completing Beauty School in Boise Idaho. She married James White on December 21, 1951 in Winnemucca, Nevada. 

The two had 3 children; James, Michael and Jeffrey. After James’ passing, she met Gene Laucirica and the two spent many years together as partners in life. 

She filled her time working for Ramasco’s Jewelry and then became a cook for Humboldt County School District where she would eventually retire from. She was a member of the LDS Church.

Bev was an avid reader and belonged to a book club, she was a member of the Humboldt General Hospital Auxiliary and spent time volunteering at the Poke ‘n’ Peek. 

She was a member of the Cowbells, the Century Club and she was a lifetime member of Friends of Midas. 

She enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, snowmobiling, cooking and spending time with her friends and family at her cabin in Midas, Nevada. 

She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family. 

She is survived by her children, James (Patty) White, Michael (Norma) White, Jeffrey (Jennifer) White and Gena (Jim) Howard. Her grandchildren, Kara (Eric) Schene, Branon (Jessica) White, Jesse (Amy) White, Cami White, Aiden Howard and Brody Howard as well as numerous great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, James White, her parents, Clifford Morse and Mabel Small Morse and her partner, Gene Laucirica. 

Beverly wished for no services. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Humboldt General Hospital Auxiliary in Bev’s name.
