Laurie Pickett beat Marlea Pointer in a playoff to win the Winnemucca Ladies Golf Club 2022 Spring Tournament held May 24 and May 31 at Winnemucca Municipal Golf Course.
Each golfer shot 147 over the two days, with Pickett winning in the playoff.
Vicki Celio and Di An Putnam tied for third at 156 and Melissa Murphy (157) and Adua Boyle (160) were fifth and sixth, respectively.
Pickett had the fewest putts on May 24 with 30 and Celio and Stephanie Crawford had the fewest putts on may 31 with 32 apiece.
Pickett and Crawford had chip-ins on May 24 and Pointer and Crawford had chip-ins on May 31, Pickett was closest to the hole on No. 2 on May 24 at 9 feet, 6 inches and Boyle was closest on No. 5 at 3-4. On May 31, McKenzie Beitia was closest on No. 2 at 7-3 and Putnam was closest on No. 5 at 16-6.
