LeRoy F. Johnson 1929-2022
LeRoy always told his wife, “I was born in Lovelock and I want to live, die and be buried in Lovelock”.
LeRoy was born on November 27th, 1929 to parents Andrew and Jessie Johnson. He lived most of his life here, including the last 43 years.
He retired from Eagle Pitcher Minerals in 1993.
He and wife Becky liked to travel and have been to most of the United States, Mexico, Canada and a trip to Europe.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Jessie Johnson and a brother Donald (at 18 months).
Also brother Eugene (Emily) Johnson; Lloyd (Lena) Johnson; and sister Ruth (Joe) Rodriquez; and stepdaughter Teresa Castillo-Spaulding all of Lovelock, NV.
LeRoy is survived by wife Becky Johnson. Also his two sons Darrel and Jody Johnson. Also a sister Elva (Ernest) Johnson of Winnemucca, NV; and stepchildren Jeana (Dave) Hayes of PA; Sandi (Mike) Hood of WA; Cynthia (Eugene) Guyer of OK; and Glen Burdett of OK. Also his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
LeRoy was truly loved and will be missed by everyone that knew him, especially wife Becky and great grandson Johathan.
LeRoy has been cremated and his washes buried at Big Meadows Cemetery.
