The Humboldt County Rodeo Club will have a strong representation at both the High School and Jr. High National Finals Rodeos. Following the resent Nevada State Finals Rodeo held in Winnemucca, Humboldt County has 11 members who qualified for Nationals and will compete on the national level with contestants from across the US, Canada, Mexico and Australia. Among these are two Nevada State All-Around Champions — brother and sister Billy and Matti DeLong. Billy was named Nevada State High School Boys All-Around Champion, and Matti was named Nevada State Jr. High Girls All-Around Champion.
