On the Saturday morning of June 4, 2022, Linda Bergstrom, loving wife and mother of three children, passed away in a Las Vegas hospital at the age of 74.
Linda was born on July 18, 1947 in Waverly, New York to Joseph and Erlene Hickok. Linda graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1966 and from Sunrise School of Nursing in 1971.
Linda married her husband Dennis Bergstrom on May 29, 1971.
They raised one son, Douglas and twin daughters Sandra and Susan. Linda was very caring and loving as a nurse and working for the school districts in Humboldt and Washoe county in Nevada.
She loved to help her four grandchildren very much. In the early 1990s she was diagnosed with a rare liver disease Primary Biliary Cholangitis, and on November 2 1997 received a liver transplant which gave us over 24 more years with her.
Linda moved to Pahrump, Nevada a little less than two years ago after living in Sparks, Nevada for 28 years and Winnemucca, Nevada for ten years.
Linda was proceeded in death by her father Joseph Hickok, mother Erlene Kline, brother Joseph K Hickok (Kenny), step father Stanley Kline, and two uncles Kenny Kitchen and Danny Murphy.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years Dennis Bergstrom, her Son and daughter in law Douglas and Laura Bergstrom, daughters and son in-laws Sandra and Brian Moore, and Susan and Dylan Magluilo, four grandchildren Jacob, Payton, Dylan, and James, brother and sister in-law Mike and Tracy Kline, aunts Donna Kitchen and Sally Murphy, and cousins.
Services will be held at St. John’s Presbyterian Church 1070 West Plumb Lane Reno Nevada on August 6th at 1:00 PM.
