December 15
A misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle with expired registration or plates against Victor Daniel Ramos Diaz was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office as proof of current registration was provided. A misdemeanor charge of driver failing to obey red traffic light was amended to reflect basic speed 1-10 over the limit.
December 16
Larry Jay Tom pleaded no contest to count one: misdemeanor hit and run property damage and count two: driving without a valid license first offense. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment on count one and a $100 fine + $95 administrative assessment on count two, with all fines and fees suspended for two years on the condition that there are no like violations of the law.
Misdemeanor charges of count one: current registration required, count two: when lighted tail lamps are required and count three: tail lamps against Larry Jay Tom were dismissed in open court on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to plea negotiations as defendant entered a plea to an associated felony charge.
A misdemeanor felony possession of a controlled substance charge (2 counts) was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office in open court.
December 21
A misdemeanor expiration and renewal of registration charge against Matthew Davis was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office as proof of current registration was provided and Davis was ordered to pay $115 on a misdemeanor basic speed charge.
December 22
A misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge against Daren Chavez Briones was dismissed on a motion by the DA’s office pursuant to a successfully completed deferred prosecution agreement.
December 23
Charles Thomas Bogosian pleaded no contest in absentia to a misdemeanor battery charge, amended from an original misdemeanor domestic battery first offense charge. The court ordered a $1,000 fine + $140 administrative assessment with credit given for six days jail time served.
December 28
Mark A. Ghiorso was ordered to pay fines on a misdemeanor basic speeding violation 11-20 miles per hour over the posted limit.
