Battle Mountain High School basketball, wrestling return to action

After taking a couple weeks off with the Christmas break, the Battle Mountain High School boys and girls basketball teams and wrestling team returns to action this week.

The Battle Mountain wrestlers will split up its squads, sending one team to Buhl, Idaho, on Friday and Saturday for the Indian Invite. 

Another group will be in Twin Falls, Idaho, this weekend to compete at Canyon Ridge High School.

The Longhorns will be back in Nevada on Jan. 14-15 for the Kiwanis Invitational in Spring Creek.

The Battle Mountain basketball teams were back on the floor on Tuesday to take on Wells in a non-conference match-up.

Results were not available at press time.

Battle Mountain is at home this weekend to take on North Tahoe on Friday and Incline on Saturday.
