Union Township Justice Court

Items in the Court Docket are compiled from public records contained in the Union Township Justice Court and the Sixth Judicial District Court. The Humboldt Sun reports all felony hearings, misdemeanor convictions and dismissals for which the court releases information. When requested by the individual, the Sun will post the person’s mug shot with their court disposition.

On Feb. 3, Krista Dawn Hogan pleaded no contest to driving under the influence first offense and was sentenced to 30 days jail with 28 days stayed for period of one year. Stayed jail time on the condition she serve two days and pay fine of $400 + $125AA + $60 forensic fee, complete DUI school and victim impact panel. Defendant was also ordered to have the breath interlock devices for a period of 185 days. The charge of failure to stop at stop sign was dismissed in open court. 



On Feb. 10, Kenneth Ray Ferrari’s charges were discussed off the record. Due to defendant’s compliance the citation of reckless driving was amended to basic speed 11-20 over limit with the fine amount remaining the same. Case was closed. 



On Feb. 10, Cody Michael Noyes’ charges were discussed off the record. Due to defendant’s compliance the fines for unregistered vehicle were decreased to $50 and the fines for proof of insurance required were decreased to $195. Case was closed. 



On Feb. 15, Peter Allen Boyer’s charges for fail to drive within marked lanes were discussed off the record, pursuant to negations the fine amount was reduced to $150. Case was closed.



On Feb. 15, Hardeep Singh’s charges were discussed off the record. Due to compliance, the charge of operate vehicle with expired registration or plates was dismissed and the charge of basic speeding violation 1-10 MPH over posted limit remained the same. Defendant paid fine and case was closed. 



On Feb. 15, Roberto Hernandez Jr.’s charges were discussed off the record. Du to compliance the charges of license plates improperly displayed, tail lamp violation, windshield or window tinting violation and owner – proof of insurance required were all dismissed. Case was closed. 



On Feb. 15, Peter Allen Boyer’s charge was discussed off the record, pursuant to negotiations the fine for fail to drive within marked lanes was reduced to $150. Case was closed. 



On Feb. 15, Steffanie Lee Edwards changed her plea from not guilty to no contest to petit larceny. The court ruled pursuant to negotiations a fine of $500 and community service offered in lieu of fines. 



On Feb. 15, Nikki Pettit changed her plea from not guilty to no contest for resist/obstruct/delay a public officer. The court fined the defendant $1,000 + 140AA, $640 was suspended under the condition that there are no like violations for a period of one year. Community service was offered in lieu of fines for the remaining $500. 



On Feb. 15, Michael Aaron Sellers pleaded guilty to failure to due care and resident with non-Nevada drivers license. The court ruled as follows $250 + $105AA and $100 + $95AA for a total fine of $550. 



On Feb. 16, Amber Waitecasaba’s charges pursuant to negotiations were amended to rural speed with fine amount to remain the same and no seat belt-juvenile was dismissed.
