On Friday December 2nd Mark was called home.

Mark Armstrong was born April 17th, 1947, in Shelly Idaho to Ellis Armstrong and Arlene Johnson Armstrong.

Mark had 3 sisters, 1 half-sister and 4 half-brothers He grew up in Basalt Idaho where he enjoyed hanging out at the Snake River with his friends, he loved playing football and learning how to farm from his father. 

After high school he attended Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho.

He had a love for farming and farming potatoes especially

He started his career farming in Idaho and Washington which brought him to Winnemucca in the late 80’s when he accepted a job at Winnemucca Farms where he worked for 26 years. 

But his true love was his family. 

His Daughter Shanda, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren were his whole world. He collected Owls, Stamps, Baseball Hats and loved being at home with his family.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Shanda O’Neill (Michael). His 7 Grandchildren, Morgan Pavao (Cody), Jessica Money (Andrew), Hannah Growcock (Carrissa), Dylan Money, KyLee Growcock, Zaquery Growcock, Brycyn Growcock. 3 Great Grandchildren, Camryn Pool, Corey Pugh, Carolyn Pugh, Son in law, Matt Growcock and family. Also, his sisters, Lois Frandsen (Herman), DeAnna Lunt (Owen). 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends
