The Lowry High School girls basketball team remained undefeated on the season with two impressive road wins over Northern 3A West foes.
Lowry traveled to Hug High School on Wednesday, Dec. 14, and did not allow the Hawks to make a field goal in the 58-2 win.
The Lady Bucks were back in Reno this past Saturday and disposed of a much-improved North Valleys squad 74-43.
Lowry improved to 8-0 and 3-0 in the Northern 3A and have won 27 games in a row dating back to last year.
In the win over Hug, Lowry did not give up a point in the first half, leading 23-0 after eight minutes of play and 41-0 at halftime.
The Hawks made one free throw apiece in the third and fourth quarters for their points.
The game was played with a running clock for much of the final three quarters.
Savannah Stoker had a game-high 24 points to go with eight rebounds, five steaks and two assists.
Britain Backus added 16 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals.
Bryce Brinkerhoff and Sydnee Pettis each scored four points and Autum Sanchez, Mia Hernandez, Belen Barocio and Miranda Draper had two points apiece.
Brinkerhoff added four steals and three assists and Sanchez grabbed four rebounds to go with two assists and two steals.

North Valleys 43
North Valleys held a 5-4 lead early in the first quarter after a 3-point field goal, but it was all Lowry after that.
Lowry scored the next 12 points from baskets from Brinkerhoff, Stoker and Backus. The Panthers made a late run in the first quarter to cut the deficit to 18-12.
Lowry opened a 20-point advantage in the second quarter and outscored North Valleys 25-11 in the third quarter to avoid any thought of an upset win by the Panthers.
Stoker (30) and Backus (26) combined for 56 of the 74 points for Lowry. It was a career-high for Backus. Brinkerhoff added six points, Hernandez and Pettis three each and Kailey Franklin and Barocio two each.
Lowry hosted Truckee on Monday and results were no available at press time.
The Lady Bucks will travel to Reno after Christmas for the McQueen Tournament and are scheduled to play Portola, Calif., Galena, Reed and Reno.
