Supporting literacy in schools —

The Winnemucca Literary Club recently donated a dictionary to every third grader in the Humboldt County School District with the help of their sponsor, Lithium Americas. The Winnemucca Literary Club and Lithium Americas have partnered for the past three years on this endeavor, which donates more than 200 dictionaries, in efforts to promote literacy among students. The Literary Club has donated dictionaries to students for the past 25 years, but the opportunity for Lithium Americas to assume the financial burden was realized during the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to keep the initiative going.
