Judith Ann Dossey passed away on November 30, 2022, in Winnemucca, Nevada. She was born on October 13, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Gilbert Carl Struble and Viola Evelyn Rousenville. She joined two older half-brothers into the family, Tom and Gilbert.
She was born in Indiana and later lived in the Los Angeles area and Wyoming. She spent much of her life in Wyoming.
She attended the University of Wyoming and then became an art teacher for senior citizens.
She was an avid photographer and a nationally recognized artist. She also worked as an EMT for some time.
Judy married John Woody, the two were married for 14 years and shared 2 children together, H. Gene Woody and Eric Jon Woody.
Judy then married Clay Dossey and the two shared 19 years and 2 children: April Ann Dossey Woolsey and Michael Gilbert Dossey.
She later moved to Nevada. She worked several jobs in Winnemucca including Flying J, a local RV Park, and Olsen’s Corner Drug Store.
Judy lived her life dedicated to Christ and found her church family in the Christlife Ministries of Winnemucca, Nevada. She enjoyed gardening, rock hunting and visiting ghost towns.
She is survived by her children, H. Gene Woody, Eric Jon (Susan) Woody, April Ann (Matt) Woolsey, and Michael Gilbert Dossey, eleven grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Viola Struble, her great-grandma Struble and her daughter-in-law, Lisa Woody.
Services for Judith Dossey were held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Christlife Ministries.
